Goldstone is the only glass use. Perhaps it's because of the history. It was supposedly first created by monks in
Italy eons ago; the process involves somehow stirring micro-bits of copper into the glass when it's being made. Blue goldstone was chosen for the Hail Mary's and pyrite/marcasite for the Our Fathers; hematite accents/spacers. Cross and medal are nickel silver.

The stones -- carnelian, lapis lazuli, nephrite jade, and tiger eye -- are connected by hematite. The 3rd decade is black onyx, the gem of universal love. This rosary depicts Solanus' life of healing intercession and unconditional love for God and neighbor.

Dedicated to Our Lady of the Snows *

# 27446 - $ 55.00 ea. Rosary
# 19689 - $ 27.00 ea. Bracelet

The whole idea of a rosary to Our Lady WITH snow sparked a vivid picture! Why not use gorgeous blue/white lapis lazuli
for the Hail Mary's and a v. tactile frosted quartz for the almost snowy-looking Our Fathers? Hematite is used for accents and spacers; n/c cross, medal.

# 19604 - $ 27.00 ea. Bracelet

For a saint who helps heal the sick, garnets were a natural choice for the Hail Mary's; they're supposed to help energize and purify the body. Clear quartz cubes for the Our Fathers lend very striking support. Hematite accents and spacers; n/s cross and medal.

This rosary is fashioned from unique turquoise in matrix. It's a more basic form of the stone that has bits of quartz and other stones naturally occurring throughout to give the lush color and almost palpable texture. Hematite spacers and accents; n/s cross, medal.

When I first saw the very unique freshwater pearl Hearts, my heart almost skipped a beat! I knew they had to be
used for the Our Fathers, with a bit larger-than-usual blue/white sodalite for the Hail Mary beads. Hematite accents and spacers; n/c cross, medal.

The wire used throughout to make the rosaries is a very thick nylon-coated stainless steel. The bracelets are on memory wire, which allows the wearer to wrap it around the wrist and even slightly shape it for more
comfort. Most medals used for the rosary bracelets are sterling silver; the heart-shaped medal for the Fr. Solanus bracelet is pewter.
